North Jackson provides recreational baseball and softball to over 900 boys and girls ranging from age 4 to 12 as well as volunteer opportunities for teenagers through umpiring, concessions, field crew maintenance, and community based projects. North Jackson also hosts multiple all-star and select baseball tournaments, including its annual Zeke Walley baseball tournament since 1988 in honor of one of its former players. Throughout each year, North Jackson hosts numerous baseball, softball, kickball and football team practices and games.
